My name is Amy Dean and I'm in my 3rd Year at the University of Lincoln studying Film, Television and English. This year we are required to make a portfolio detailing what we have done and how much we have contributed to the project. In term 1, I handwrote my portfolio due to my role on the set team. I felt I should be a lot more creative than usual. For this term, I shall be doing it on this blog to keep up the creativity as well as documenting my progress for potential employment.
So, for those that are not academics but are following the blog, we are required to make the 30 minute film of our choice. 10 minutes were handed in in Term 1. Our basic plotline is about a young girl in 1970's England that falls in with a punk crowd and the repercussions this has on her life. During Term 1, my roles were Head Editor and Assistant Set Design. I also did background work as a researcher and I manned a camera in the television studio.
I am aiming to update this every weekend to talk about the weeks progress. ANd then hopefully by the end of the academic year I'll be able to post the full film.
